Residenz Erschbaum

coming from BRIXEN:

Take the Brenner motorway (A22) to the Brixen/Pustertal exit, then continue on the main road (SS49-E66) into the Pustertal valley. Stay on this road for about 42 km, passing the town of Bruneck. At the turn-off to Olang, turn right - into its village center and continue to Geiselberg/Kronplatz. Pass the valley station Gassl (parking lot) and after about 200 m turn right to the Residenz Erschbaum.

coming from LIENZ:

You can also reach us via Lienz in Osttirol (A). You pass the Austrian-Italian border between Arnbach and Winnebach (B100-E66) and continue on the state road (SS49-E66) to Olang. At the turn-off to Olang, turn left - into its village center and continue to Geiselberg/Kronplatz. Pass the valley station Gassl (parking lot) and after about 200 m turn right to the Residenz Erschbaum.

During the winter months, 15 November and 15 April, winter tyres or chains are compulsory for cars and lorries in South Tyrol, in case of snowfall, snow-covered roads or ice.

...BY TRAIN

You can reach us easily without traffic jams by train, the FLIRT TRAIN in South Tyrol.

From the north, you can reach Bolzano and Franzensfeste by train from Munich, Innsbruck with arrival in Franzensfeste or from the south via Verona to Bolzano and Franzensfeste. Here you change trains in the direction of Pustertal/Bruneck/Innichen and drive to Olang. Coming from the east, take the train via Lienz/Innichen to Olang. From the train station you can take the public bus to the valley station Gassl. We would also be happy to pick you up at the train station Olang, on request.
